305 – Grand River Bus Schedule

The 305 bus provides service between Tireman & Southfield-Grand River & Scotten and State Fair Transit Center with various stops between. Clicking any stop allows users to see up-to-date real-time schedules and departures.

GRT will close problem areas identified on an online map during severe weather events and direct riders to an alternative location.

Route 1

Grand River Transit (GRT), established in 2000 with the merger of Kitchener Transit and Cambridge Transit services, serves Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge Ontario regions. Their fleet consists entirely of motor buses.

Routes with numbers below 100 provide local services; those numbered in the 200s provide express services under the iXpress brand, while routes numbered 300s offer full rapid transit with Ion. Routes marked + utilize smaller BusPlus vehicles.

Route 2

Grand River Transit (GRT), in Ontario, Canada, is a municipal bus service serving Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge in its region. Operating low-floor, wheelchair-accessible buses for service routes. All GRT buses also feature bicycle racks.

At public consultations, there were various routing proposals for the north end of this corridor. After consideration by all involved, one proposal was ultimately selected, which provided equal access to Forest Glen, Highland Hills Mall, and Wilfrid Laurier University.

From now until June 8th, several bus routes will be altered to accommodate the Detroit Grand Prix race. Passengers can board buses on Congress between Brush and St Antoine; Jefferson between Rivard and St Aubin on Larned or Dexter near Financial District People Mover Stations.

Route 3

GRT was formed in 2000 when the Region of Waterloo’s transit systems combined with Kitchener Transit, taking its name from the Grand River that runs through it. Today, it operates 23 buses powered by compressed natural gas inherited from Kitchener Transit’s previous fleet.

Route 200, inaugurated in 2005, connects Waterloo’s Boardwalk shopping center and Conestoga Mall to Hespeler Road in Cambridge and Fischer-Hallman to downtown Waterloo via crosstown route 201. All buses feature reserved seating; most offer bike racks as well as wheelchair accessibility.

At the Detroit Grand Prix race from May 20 to June 8, several bus routes have been adjusted in order to provide easier accessibility for riders. Passengers may board Grand River buses between Brush and St Antoine on Congress and Jefferson and Dexter buses on Larned, both within front of Financial District People Mover Station.

Traffic conditions, weather, and other external influences may lead to changes in schedules; paper maps & schedules are available at transfer facility offices, onboard buses, and various locations around the city.

Route 5

From June 8 – 10, several routes will be altered in order to accommodate the Detroit Grand Prix. Grand River Transit buses will run along Congress between Brush and St Antoine, Jefferson between Rivard and St Aubin, and Larned Avenue directly in front of Financial District People Mover Station.

GRT boasts a modern fleet of low-floor, wheelchair-accessible buses – most are under two decades old! GRT originated as Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge Transits systems and once provided interurban and streetcar rail service.

Route 6

Route 7

Grand River Transit (GRT) provides public transit in the Waterloo Region. Operating a standard fleet of low-floor buses, including BusPLUS vehicles, GRT was established through the merger between Kitchener Transit and Waterloo Region Transit in 2000 and services both cities as well as surrounding communities.

Scheduled departure times for significant stops appear first, followed by stops along the route. AM times are highlighted typically; PM times are highlighted in bold.

Route 8

GRT’s bus network underwent a significant change with the debut of Ion rapid transit in June 2019: routes below 100 represent local services; those numbered 200-300 indicate express service with iXpress vehicles, while 300s stand for full rapid transit with Ion trains.

Route 9

Route 9 Lakeshore is a conventional route connecting Conestoga Mall Terminal, Wilfrid Laurier University, Columbia, Lakeshore North, and Conestoga, communities dominated by student housing. Additionally, Route 13 runs alongside this path at all times through the University of Waterloo campus.

Due to the Detroit Grand Prix running from June 8th until June 8th, various routes are being altered accordingly. Passengers can board Grand River buses between Brush and St Antoine on Congress between Congress Street and Larned Avenue, while Jefferson/Dexter buses can be found outside Financial District People Mover Stations on Larned Boulevard.
